Prior to the start of our first session, the intake evaluation, you will be invited to join my "Client Portal." This secure website will give you access to online forms to complete prior to our first session. You will also be able to email me, securely, through this website at any time during treatment.
I offer 45-50 minute therapy sessions for adults, adolescents and couples. Alternative session lengths may be discussed as appropriate to your treatment. My rates for a 45-50 minute session range from $50-$140 depending on your household income. Fees are to be paid at the time of service and I am prepared to accept cash, check, debit or credit cards. I also offer a select number of reduced rate spots. Although I cannot guarantee the immediate availability of these spots, I am happy to talk with you about this option and place you on a reduced fee wait-list.
I also accept Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United (Private Plan), Optum and Aetna Insurance at this time. If you choose to utilize your insurance to cover services the fee for therapy sessions is $140 - $160 and you will need to provide your co-pay payment at the time of service.
Additional insurance panels may be accepted in the future. If I do not accept your current insurance I would be happy to provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider as an out-of-network provider. Please note, this would require a DSM-IV or DSM-V diagnosis which I would be happy to provide at your request. I encourage checking in with your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits. For those seeking the highest level of privacy, a fee-for-service arrangement may be ideal in order to protect your confidentiality (including diagnoses, treatment plans, etc.) from insurance companies.
Cancellation and Late Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so by 24 hours before your appointment. You may call, leave a message or send an email. Of course, emergencies or illnesses may arise, in these instances, please let me know you need to cancel as soon as feasible. If you do not call to cancel your appointment, I will charge for a $50 no-show fee. I will keep a copy of your credit card on file and will charge you as appropriate. No other charges or regular session fees will be made unless discussed.
Please note that if you are late to your session, you will be charged the full amount of the agreed upon hourly rate at the time of service.
Session fees may change without notice. I will make every reasonable effort to work with current clients (both providing adequate notice and working within your financial constraints).
